  3. Hi again.

I tried reentering code in header.php and finally got the slide to show – but it shows up on all my pages. My new question is how can I make the slide show up only on the homepage/frontpage and not on the other pages.

Thanks very much for your help.

    Best regards.

  4. Hi again. Initially I was able to show the slider on a Mantra theme on WordPress 3.8.1 by putting the code above in header.php. But since then I have tried Responsive and other themes and tried the same process and the slider would no longer show. I have even tried on other config files like front-page.php, home.php, etc. and still no slider. I’ve done all the modifications but cannot get it to work. Am I missing something, like a conflict with the theme or other plugins?

    1. I can’t get this to work with the Responsive theme either. The shadow appears but no images. I think there must be a conflict with the theme. Either that or WP 3.8.1.

      1. Please, check this your theme has the file “jquery.easing.1.3.js”… because normally this file of conflict with the themes.

        1. Is it only to be placed on the header.php file of any theme? Is there a specific place within the header.php file that I need to place the code? I’m just confounded why it worked one time and then the next it does not.

        2. Is it only to be placed on the header.php file of any theme? Is there a specific place within the header.php file that I need to place the code? I’m just confounded why it worked one time and then the next it does not. The first time it worked there was no jquery.easing script in the theme directory. I tried, this time, to place the script in the js folders of the theme but the slider still does not show. 🙁

  5. Hi,
Is the code to be placed only in header.php or are there situations where it would have to be placed i other php files? I have uninstalled/reinstalled the plugin several times and have tried putting the code near the beginning, at the end and in other lines within header.php and still cannot get the slide to show. Please help.

Have you check if exist a conflict with another jQuery library??? Maybe your theme has a jQuery incompatible with the Slider… Do you deploy this web site in localhost or have a online link??? Because you send for me a link I can help you…
